Apple Cider Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
    1 1/2 c. cider
    1 c. (4 oz.) grated Cheddar cheese
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    2 Tbsp. crumbled Blue cheese
    2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    4 c. sliced cabbage
    1 c. chopped, peeled apples
Preparation
    Preheat electric skillet to 375\u00b0.
    Brown chicken 15 minutes on all sides.
    Remove.
    Lower temperature to 250\u00b0.
    Combine cider, Cheddar cheese, soup mix, Blue cheese, mustard, ginger, salt and pepper in skillet.
    Cook slowly until cheese melts.
    Add cabbage, apples and chicken to skillet.
    Stir gently.
    Cook slowly for 20 to 30 minutes until chicken is tender.
    Serves 6.
