Okra, Creole Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. bacon fat
    1/4 c. onion, sliced
    2 Tbsp. green pepper, minced
    1/2 lb. okra
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Melt bacon fat in frypan.
    Add onion and green pepper.
    Cook 2 minutes.
    Add okra and cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and simmer over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until okra is tender.
