Quick Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 large eggs
4 c. flour, sifted
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. shortening (plain or butter flavored)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy with electric mixer. Add eggs one at a time.
Add flour gradually and mix at low speed. Grease and flour a tube pan.
Pour mixture into pan and cook in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
