Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. sugar
    8 Tbsp. Crisco (solid, not liquid)
    8 tsp. baking powder
    2 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix together sugar, shortening (Crisco) and sweet potatoes. Add sweet potato mixture and cut in with a pastry blender.
    Turn onto a floured surface.
    Knead lightly.
    Roll with rolling pin a 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut out with a biscuit cutter.
    Put on a baking sheet.
    Bake in 425\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or a little longer.
    Check when done.
    Biscuits will be lightly brown.
    Remove from baking as soon as possible.
