Strawberry Icebox Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 gal. strawberries
1 large box vanilla wafers, crushed
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
3/4 c. canned milk
1 pt. whipping cream
Preparation

Layer berries and wafers, 3 layers deep in large dish.
Beat powdered sugar, egg and canned milk into a syrup and pour over berries and wafers.
Whip the whipping cream and sweeten to taste and spread over top.
