Southern Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium onion diced
    5 slices bread
    1 tsp. basil
    1 Tbsp. parsley
    2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese grated
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    freshly ground black pepper
    2 egg whites slightly beaten
    1 lb. can tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
Preparation
    Combine the first 9 ingredients and 1/4 c. of the tomato sauce and gently mold into a loaf.\tPour the tomato sauce into a bowl.
    Using the can as a measure, add the same amount of water. Mix in the prepared mustard.
    Pour sauce over loaf and bake at 350\u00b0 for one hour.\tYield: 6 servings.
