"Galatoboureko" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. milk
    1 c. heavy whipping cream
    9 large eggs plus 2 yolks
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks butter, melted
    3/4 c. farina
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 lb. filo pastry
Preparation
    Custard:
    Scald milk and cream; set aside to cool.
    Beat eggs until fluffy; add sugar and beat well until creamy.
    Add farina with a pinch of salt.
    Add milk, a spoonful at a time.
    Heat, stirring until thickened; set aside to cool.
