Pineapple-Apricot Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. softened margarine
    1 c. sour cream
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    18 oz. jar apricot jam
Preparation
    Mix together flour, baking powder and sugar.
    Cut in margarine. Mix together sour cream, eggs, vanilla and salt and add to flour mixture.
    Knead dough until well mixed.
    Divide dough into thirds; pat 2/3 into greased 18 x 12 x 1-inch pan, bringing up around sides.
    Add jam, spreading evenly.
    Roll remaining dough into a rectangle.
    Cut into 1/2 inch strips.
    Arrange strips into lattice on top of filling.
    Use strips of dough around sides of pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 55 minutes, until lightly brown.
    Cool; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
