Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. margarine
    1 box light brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Add brown sugar.
    Stir over heat.
    Remove from heat.
    Add eggs, flour with baking powder, nuts and chips. Mix all by hand.
    Grease cookie sheet with margarine.
    Spread batter into pan.
    May have to spread by hand dipped in flour. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cut into squares when cool.
    May be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
