Minted Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    6 large marshmallows
    3 drops oil of peppermint or scant 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract
    1/2 c. water
    3 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Cook
    slowly
    the
    sugar,
    water,
    salt and corn syrup. Remove from
    heat just before it forms soft ball when dropped in\tcold water.
    Add
    marshmallows;\tstir
    until melted.
    Add flavoring and nuts; stir to coat.
    Turn mixture out onto brown paper
    sack. Separate
    nuts
    and
    coating will adhere.
    Keeps about a week, or can freeze up to 1 month.
