Grandmother Kolowski'S Polish Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 potatoes
    1/2 c. farina
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. onions
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Boil and mash potatoes.
    Add farina, salt and enough flour to form a stiff dough.
    Knead and form into long roll; cut in pieces. Drop in boiling water.
    Boil for 20 minutes.
    Melt butter.
    Cook onions and bread crumbs.
    Pour over dumplings.
