Goodbye Turkey Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. flour
    4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. onion salt
    1 c. melted butter
    2 1/2 qt. milk
    5 1/3 c. Minute rice
    6 c. turkey or chicken broth
    2 c. grated American cheese
    6 c. cooked asparagus
    8 c. or 24 slices turkey
    1/2 c. toasted, slivered almonds
Preparation
    Sift flour, 2 teaspoons salt and onion salt into butter.
    Stir in milk slowly.
    Cook over hot water until thickened.
    Pour Minute rice into a 2-quart shallow baking dish.
    Combine broth and remaining salt and pour over rice.
    Sprinkle 1/2 cheese over rice. Top with asparagus, then turkey.
    Pour milk sauce over top. Sprinkle remaining cheese, then almonds.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Feeds 24 persons!
