Apple Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    squash
    water
    salt and pepper
    nutmeg
    apple
    raisins
    walnut pieces
    butter
    cinnamon
    cloves
Preparation
    Cut squash in half and remove seed.
    Lay squash halves in baking dish.
    Fill dish with 1/2 inch water.
    Sprinkle inside of squash with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
    Cut apples into pieces 1 x 1/2 x 1/2-inch.
    Fill opening in squash with pieces of apple, raisins, pieces of walnut (fill to almost overflowing).
    Put a pat of butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg and ground cloves.
    Bake, covered, at 400\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
