Old-Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    8 large eggs
    5 sticks butter
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Whip butter, then add sugar and cream together.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Sift together separately the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture 1/3 to 1/2 at a time.
    Mix well between each addition.
    Add vanilla and mix well.
    Spray a 10-inch Bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray and spoon in cake mixture.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 90 minutes or until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
