Tomato Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. chopped fresh ripe tomatoes
12 onions, chopped (medium)
8 medium bell peppers
1 stalk celery, chopped
1/4 c. salt
4 Tbsp. white mustard seed
2 Tbsp. celery seed
2 c. vinegar
5 c. sugar
1 c. red pepper seed
Preparation

Mix tomatoes, onions, bell pepper and celery with the salt. Soak overnight.
Drain well.
Add mustard seed, celery seed, vinegar, sugar and red pepper seeds.
Cook all together until vegetables are tender.
Have jars and lids real hot, also jars too. Makes 9 pints.
Real good with beans.
