Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    3 1/2 c. flour (plain)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening, butter and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat.
    Alternate flour mixed with salt, soda and buttermilk mixed with flavoring.
    Pour into greased and floured tube cake pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
