Turkey Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. frozen California vegetables
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 can cream of broccoli soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. milk
    3 c. leftover turkey or chicken, diced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 pkg. crescent rolls
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook vegetables as package directs. Drain.
    Cook onion, celery and thyme in butter until tender.
    Add soup and milk.
    Stir until smooth.
    In baking dish, combine turkey, pepper and cooked vegetables.
    Add soup mixture, stirring gently to mix.
    Unroll crescent rolls, pressing perforations to seal.
    Cut lengthwise into 8 strips, about 3/4-inch wide.
    Arrange over pie in a lattice, cutting to fit as needed.
    Press ends to baking dish. Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown.
