Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. apples
    1 can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
    8 oz. dry roasted peanuts, chopped or whole
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. sugar (optional)
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Put apples in pineapple juice.
    Drain apples (save juice). To the juice, add sugar, eggs, flour and vinegar.
    Cook until thick; cool.
    Add cooked mixture, pineapple and nuts to apples. Add Cool Whip.
    Garnish with chopped nuts.
