Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sliced peaches
    1/4 c. water
    1 c. sugar, divided
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. milk
Preparation
    Mix peaches, water and 1/2 cup of sugar into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
    Mix all other ingredients together, including the other 1/2 cup of sugar.
    Pour into a greased pan. Pour the hot peach mixture over the batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
