My Sunday Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 5 lb. boneless beef roast
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    1 can Golden Mushroom soup
    5 lb. potatoes
    1 lb. carrots
Preparation
    Brown roast; add onion soup mix and mushroom soup on top of roast.
    Add water to roast, bake, covered, in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven for 2 hours before adding potatoes (which have been cut lengthwise) and carrots (which have been cut lengthwise).
    Finish cooking while at church.
