Filled Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 1/4 c. sour milk
    2 tsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    any thick jam or jelly for filling
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients. Add sugar and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Add sour milk, vinegar and butter.
    Blend.
    Roll 1/4-inch thick. Place filling in cut circles. Fold dough over filling.
    Seal edges.
    Fry in deep fat (350\u00b0).
    Drain.
