Hot Polenta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large chopped onion
    15 cloves garlic, diced
    1/2 stick oleo
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 qt. tomatoes
    1 lb. ground meat
    hot peppers to taste
    water
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    6 c. coarse corn meal
Preparation
    Saute onion in the oil and oleo.
    Add ground meat, garlic and peppers.
    Cook slowly for three or four minutes.
    Add tomatoes and 2 quarts of water.
    Add the sugar and salt to taste.
    Simmer for about 2 hours.
