Salmon Puff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (7 1/2 oz.) can red salmon, drained
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    2/3 c. flour
    1/3 c. plain cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    salad oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except oil.
    Drop batter by tablespoon into deep oil heated to 370\u00b0.
    Cook until golden brown, turning once.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
