Tater Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 medium to large potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
    salt and pepper
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. all-purpose seasoning
    1 stick margarine
    1/2 lb. cheese spread slices
    3 to 5 c. milk
    2 bouillon cubes
Preparation
    Cover potatoes with water; salt and pepper to taste.
    Add onion.
    Bring to boil; simmer for 12 to 14 minutes, until tender but not mushy.
    Gently mash into small chunks.
    Add cayenne pepper, all-purpose seasoning, the margarine, cheese, milk and bouillon cubes.
    Bring to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally. Simmer until cheese and margarine melt.
    Recipe can be halved or doubled.
