Slush - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. unsweetened lime Kool-Aid or any flavor
    2 c. sugar
    2 qt. water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 can crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 liters ginger ale
Preparation
    Completely dissolve Kool-Aid and sugar in water. Stir in juice and pineapple. Freeze in quart containers. To serve, thaw at room temperature for 3 hours.
    Put partially thawed slush in punch bowl and add ginger ale.
