Southern Pecan Griddle Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. cake flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 1/3 c. pecans, coarsely chopped
    maple syrup
Preparation
    Sift the flours, baking powder, sugar and salt together.
    Beat the milk and eggs until well blended.
    Add to the flour mixture. Add the melted butter and pecans, mixing just until blended.
    Cook on a lightly greased griddle, using 1/4 to 1/3 cup of batter for each griddle cake.
    Serve with warm maple syrup.
