Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. sugar mixed with 3 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift and add flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
    Roll into balls the size of a walnut, then roll in the sugar-cinnamon mixture.
    Place 2-inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown and still soft.
    Let cool and get hard before eating.
