Ham And Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. water
2 1/2 c. diced peeled potatoes
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1/2 c. peeled, chopped onion
1 qt. milk
1 to 2 c. diced leftover ham
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
-
In a kettle, gently simmer potatoes, celery and onion in water to cover, just until tender (about 20 minutes).
Drain well. Return to kettle with remaining ingredients.
Simmer gently 10 minutes, stirring often, and serve piping hot.
