Bread Pudding - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. raisins
9 slices bread
5 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg
Preparation

Sprinkle raisins in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
Butter bread on both sides.
Cut in half and overlap in pan.
Heat milk and add well beaten eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Beat and pour over bread. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Place pan in another pan of water.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 1 hour or until custard is set and golden brown.
