Creamed Green Bean Soup(Hungarian Zoldbableves) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
    6 c. water
    1 finely chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Cook beans and onion in water until tender.
    In a small frying pan, brown 3 tablespoons flour.
    When browned, add 2 tablespoons butter.
    When melted, whisk in a small amount of soup juice.
    Stir mixture into soup.
    Before serving, stir in 1/2 pint sour cream.
