Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium red cabbage
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 lb. bacon
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/8 tsp. pepper and salt
    1 small onion, minced
Preparation
    Shred cabbage; put in pan with salted water to cover and 2 tablespoons vinegar.
    Heat to boiling; cover and cook until tender. Drain.
    Fry bacon until crisp; drain, keeping bacon grease in pan. Add to it brown sugar, flour, water, 1/4 cup vinegar, salt, pepper and onion.
    Cook, stirring frequently, until thick.
    Add sauce and diced bacon to cabbage.
    Stir and heat through.
