Ingredients

2 c. crushed strawberries
3/4 c. water
4 c. sugar
1 box powdered Sure-Jell
Preparation

Stir strawberries and sugar in bowl. Bring water and Sure-Jell to a boil and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Add berries and stir 3 minutes. Pour into 1/2-pint jars to within 1-inch of top.
Put caps on; screw bands tight.
Let stand at room temperature for 24 hours or until set, then freeze.
Yields 6 half pints.
