Mrs. Thomas' Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sour milk
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
Preparation

Pour boiling water over cocoa and butter.
Mix together and add milk and sugar.
Add after sifting together, flour, soda and salt.
Beat well, then add vanilla and eggs.
Beat well and pour into 9 x 12-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until done.
Ice with favorite fudge frosting.
(Keeps well.)
