Sweet Pickle Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. sliced cucumbers
8 c. sliced onion
2 green or red peppers, sliced
2 c. vinegar
3 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
2 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. mustard seed
3 inch stick cinnamon
1 tsp. turmeric
Preparation

Combine cucumbers, onions and salt; let stand 1 hour.
Then put all together in pan with vinegar, sugar, spices and peppers. Boil 20 minutes.
(Spices can be tied in a bag if you do not want them through the pickles.)
Bottle and seal.
Makes about 7 pints.
