Danish Apple Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 slices zwieback-style toast
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (16 oz.) can applesauce
    1/2 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Combine finely crushed zwieback bars with melted butter, sugar and cinnamon.
    Spoon applesauce into 1-quart baking dish.
    Top with crumb mixture.
    Cook slowly on a low heat.
    Serve warm and spoon whipped cream over pudding.
