Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. apricot Jell-O
    1/2 c. carrots, shredded
    1 small can crushed pineapple, drain and save liquid
    1 can mandarin oranges (whole), drain and save liquid
    1 c. boiling water
    ice cubes
Preparation
    Add boiling water to Jell-O in a 9 1/2 x 4 1/2-inch glass loaf pan.
    Stir well until dissolved.
    Pour pineapple and orange juice into 1 cup measuring cup; add ice cubes to make full cup.
    Stir juice mix into Jell-O mix until ice is melted.
    Add carrots, pineapple and oranges.
    Refrigerate 4 hours until set.
    Unmold; place on lettuce leaves.
    To serve, slice like a cake.
