Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light molasses
    1 egg
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground cloves
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
    Roll into small balls. Dip into sugar.
    Press down on greased baking sheet, using base of a drinking glass to flatten.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
