Lemon Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    3/4 c. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
    7 eggs, separated
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, oil, water, lemon flavoring and egg yolks until smooth.
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until very stiff and dry (about 5 minutes).
    Fold into flour mixture and pour into ungreased tube pan.
    Bake for 1 hour in preheated 300\u00b0 oven.
    Remove from oven and invert pan over a bottle to cool for at least 1 hour.
    May be glazed.
