Coconut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. vegetable shortening
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut flavoring
    3 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, blending after each.
    Add milk and coconut flavoring. Sift dry ingredients. Add to mixture.
    Fold in coconut.
    Bake in a tube pan in a cold oven at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
