Braised Pork Chops - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pork chops, very lean and well trimmed
2 c. cabbage, raw and shredded
1 small tart apple, halved, cored and sliced
2 medium potatoes, unpeeled and quartered
1/4 tsp. caraway seed
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Brown on both sides in heavy skillet over medium heat.
Remove chops from skillet; layer remaining ingredients into skillet.
Add chops.
Add water and cover skillet tightly.
Cook over low heat 15 to 20 minutes or until pork and cabbage are tender.
Add water if it seems dry.
Yields 2 servings.
