Baked Or Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 reconstituted eggs
    1 pt. household milk
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    few drops vanilla essence
    grate of nutmeg
    small piece of margarine
Preparation
    Stir sugar into eggs; add warm milk and vanilla.
    Pour in fireproof dish, adding margarine, flaked in tiny pieces, and nutmeg on top.
    Stand dish in oven in tin of hot water or on asbestos mat to prevent curdling.
    Stir custard before it sets so that margarine is well mixed with other ingredients.
