Ingredients

8 large (about 1 lb.) carrots
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
Preparation

Cook carrots 15 to 25 minutes or until carrots are just tender.
Meanwhile, melt in a skillet butter.
Add and stir in brown sugar.
Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Drain carrots thoroughly.
Dry carrots by shaking pan over low heat. Add to butter-sugar mixture in skillet.
Simmer a few minutes or until carrots are glazed.
Turn several times to glaze evenly. Makes 4 servings.
Double for larger servings.
