Turkey Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. celery, diced
1 c. carrots, diced
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. onions, chopped
5 Tbsp. turkey fat or margarine, melted
2 c. broth, skimmed and hot vegetable liquid
1 c. cooked peas, drained
3 c. turkey, diced
unbaked biscuits
Preparation

Cook carrots and celery together in boiling salted water 15 minutes; drain, reserve liquid for gravy.
Blend flour, salt and fat; stir into hot liquid.
Cook and stir constantly until thickened.
Combine gravy, vegetables, and turkey.
Place in greased baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes at 425\u00b0.
Remove from oven. Top with biscuits.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 450\u00b0.
Yields 6 to 8 servings.
