Nutty Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter, softened
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted plain flour
    2 c. chopped nuts
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar, stir in vanilla.
    Combine about 2 tablespoons flour with nuts, toss to coat well.
    Add nuts and remaining flour to creamed mixture.
    Roll small amount of dough into the shape of dates.
    Place on baking sheet, bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Remove from pan and roll in powdered sugar. Makes three dozen.
    (These keep well and are so-o-o good.)
