Ingredients
    5 c. applesauce, cooked and run through strainer
    6 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg
    3/4 stick margarine
Preparation
    Place applesauce in a large saucepan.
    On medium heat, bring to a slow boil.
    Add sugar and spices.
    When dissolved, bring mixture back to a boil.
    Add margarine; cook until melted and blended.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Yields 4 pints.
