Swedish Apple Kaka (Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    nuts (optional)
    4 c. apples, cut up
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and put in a spring-form pan (or 9-inch round pan).
    Top with 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes, or until done.
    Serve with whipped cream.
