Chop Suey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cubed beef, cooked in oil until brown and tender
    2 medium onions, chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 can bean sprouts, drained
    2 cans water
    2 cans mushroom soup
    La soy sauce (4 tsp.)
    cornstarch (to thicken)
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Cook on low heat.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
    Sprinkle with chow mein noodles (optional).
