Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 to 2 medium apples, finely chopped
    1/2 c. nuts
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Beat sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, eggs and vanilla in small mixer bowl until smooth (about 1 minute).
    Stir in apples and nuts.
    Pour into greased 9-inch pie plate.
    Bake until golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cut into wedges and serve warm with whipped cream of ice cream.
