Broiled Salmon Steaks With Herb Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/4 c. dry white wine
1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. fine herbs blend
1 clove garlic, sliced
6 (3/4-inch thick) salmon steaks (fresh or frozen, about 2 lb.)
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine butter or margarine, wine, parsley, herbs and garlic; heat slowly until fat is melted.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Sprinkle steaks with salt.
Place fish on a well-greased broiler pan (or line pan with greased foil); brush with sauce.
Broil about 3 inches from heat source, 4 to 6 minutes.
Turn carefully; brush with sauce.
Broil about 3 inches from heat source, 4 to 6 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
Baste steaks with sauce several times while broiling.
Makes 6 servings.
