Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. chocolate (dark)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (7 oz.) pkg. Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped pecans or slivered almonds
pinch of salt
1 pie shell, baked
Preparation

Blend butter until fluffy.
Add sugar gradually.
Mix well. Melt chocolate with pinch of salt and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Beat 5 minutes after each egg.
Pour into baked pie shell. Spread with Cool Whip.
Garnish with nuts.
Chill 3 hours before serving.
